Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
