[AND] the people of Lot gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 160 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? You are a people who transgress all bounds." 166 'Lot' they replied, 'if you do not desist, you shall be thrown out' 167 He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy). 168 My Lord! Save me and my household from what they do. 169 We saved him and all of his family 170 all but an old woman, who was among those that stayed behind; 171 then We totally destroyed the rest, 172 And We showered a rain upon them; so what a wretched rain for those who were warned! 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 175
