This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 Then they will exclaim, "Could we have some respite?" 203 Would they (now) hasten on Our doom? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 And withal, never have We destroyed any community unless it had been warned 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 Warn your tribe and your near kinsmen. 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.' 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And your movements among those who fall prostrate (along with you to Allah in the five compulsory congregational prayers). 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and that they [so often] say what they do not do [or feel]? 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227
God the Almighty always says the truth.
