We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
