Have you not seen those who dispute with respect to the communications of Allah: how are they turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 when, with iron collars and chains around their necks, they are dragged 71 In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 "Besides Allah" They will say: "They have vanished from us: Nay, we did not invoke (worship) anything before." Thus Allah leads astray the disbelievers. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of hell to live therein forever. How terrible is the dwelling of the arrogant ones. 76 So be patient [Prophet], for God's promise is true: whether We show you part of what We have promised them in this life, or cause you to die first, it is to Us that they will be recalled. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
