And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 The trance of death will come revealing the truth: that is what you were trying to escape. 19 And the Horn shall be blown; that is the Day of Threat! 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 “The one who excessively prevented from virtue, the transgressor, the doubtful.” 25 Who made [as equal] with Allah another deity; then throw him into the severe punishment." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29
