۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And ye are at that moment looking 84 And We are nearer to him than you are, but you cannot see. 85 Then why, if you are not indebted (to Us for life), 86 Cause ye it not to return, if ye say sooth? 87 If he is among the near 88 (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 The welcome will be boiling water 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 Extol, then, the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 96
