The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those that sprint, breathing heavily. (The horses used in Holy War.) 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 dividing the gathering. 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 and surely he loves riches with a passionate loving. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And the secrets of the breasts are made known, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
