Indeed, We sent Noah to his people, and he tarried among them a thousand years, all but fifty; so the Flood seized them, while they were evildoers. 14 but We saved him, together with all who were in the ark, which We then set up as a symbol [of Our grace] for all people [to remember]. 15 And (We also saved) Abraham: behold, he said to his people, "Serve Allah and fear Him: that will be best for you- If ye understand! 16 “You worship only idols instead of Allah, and only forge a clear lie; indeed those whom you worship instead of Allah do not control your sustenance – therefore seek your sustenance from Allah, and worship Him, and be grateful to Him; it is towards Him that you will be returned.” 17 If you belie me, other nations before you also belied. It is only for a Messenger to deliver the clear deliverance. 18 What! do they not consider how Allah originates the creation, then reproduces it? Surely that is easy to Allah. 19 Say: "Travel on the earth and see how He originated creation. Then (you will know) how God will raise the last raising (of the dead). Surely God has power over everything, 20 He causes to suffer whomever He wills, and bestows His mercy on whomever He wills; and unto Him you shall be made to return: 21 And you will not cause failure [to Allah] upon the earth or in the heaven. And you have not other than Allah any protector or any helper. 22
