And who is better in speech than him who prayeth unto his Lord and doeth right, and saith: Lo! I am of those who are muslims (surrender unto Him). 33 Nor can good and evil be equal. Repel thou evil with that which is goodly then behold; he between whom and thee there was enmity, will be as though he was a warm friend. 34 But none attains to this except those who are steadfast; none attains to this except those endowed with mighty good fortune. 35 And if you are prompted by a provocation from Satan, seek refuge with Allah. He, and He alone, is All-Hearing, All- Knowing. 36 And from among His Signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Prostrate not to the sun nor to the moon, but prostrate to Allah Who created them, if you (really) worship Him. 37 And if they wax proud, yet those who are with thy Lord do glorify Him by night and day, and grow not weary. ۩ 38 And of His Signs is that you see the earth withered, then We send down water upon it, and lo! it quivers and swells. Surely He Who gives life to the dead earth will also give life to the dead. Surely He has power over everything. 39 Those who pervert the Truth in Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Which is better?- he that is cast into the Fire, or he that comes safe through, on the Day of Judgment? Do what ye will: verily He seeth (clearly) all that ye do. 40 Those who reject the Reminder when it has come to them (should know) that it is a Book inviolate. 41 Falsehood cannot come at it from before it or behind it, a revelation from One Wise and Praiseworthy. 42 Naught is said to you but what was said indeed to the apostles before you; surely your Lord is the Lord of forgiveness and the Lord of painful retribution. 43 Had We made the Koran in a nonArabic (language) they would have said: 'If only its verses were distinguished! Why in (a) nonArabic (language, when the Prophet is) an Arab' Say: 'To the believers it is a guidance and a healing. But to those who do not believe, there is a heaviness in their ears, to them it is blindness. They are those called from afar' 44
