In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 Consider these [messages] that spread [the truth] far and wide, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead, 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
