Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion; 7 In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble recorders, 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
