The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning hours 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you (Prophet Muhammad), nor does He hate you. 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
