The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Verily man is most ungrateful to his Lord; 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And the hearts' contents shall be brought into the open? 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
