Surely, Abraham was a nation obedient unto God, a man of pure faith and no idolater, 120 Grateful for His blessings; Allah chose him and guided him to the Straight Path. 121 We gave goodness to him in this world, and in the Everlasting Life he shall be amongst the righteous. 122 Then We revealed to thee: 'Follow thou the creed of Abraham, a man of pure faith and no idolater.' 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it. On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will decide the differences that were between them. 124 Call them to the path of your Lord with wisdom and words of good advice; and reason with them in the best way possible. Your Lord surely knows who strays from His path, and He knows those who are guided the right way. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 Exercise patience and let it be only for the cause of God. Do not be grieved about them nor disappointed at their evil plans. 127 For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good. 128
