۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 who have certainly provoked our wrath. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And verily, your Lord! He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 68
