Noah's folk denied the messengers (of Allah), 105 When their brother Nuh said unto them: fear ye not? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger sent to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
