1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 "What is the matter with you? Why do you not help one another (as you used to do in the world)?" 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 “And we did not have any control over you; but in fact you yourselves were rebellious.” 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 and would say: "Shall we, then, give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 On couches facing one another; 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 delicious to those who drink it 46 Neither dulling the senses nor intoxicating, 47 And besides them will be chaste women, restraining their glances, with big eyes (of wonder and beauty). 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 And they will all turn to one another, asking each other [about their past lives]. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 who was wont to ask [me,] 'Why - art thou really one of those who believe it to be true 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 And he will say: by Allah, thou hadst wellnigh causedest me to perish. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I should certainly have been among those brought (there)! 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Verily, this - this indeed - is the triumph supreme!" 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 for, behold, it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the blazing fire [of hell,] 64 and its fruits are like devils' heads. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then most surely they shall have after it to drink of a mixture prepared in boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they hastily follow their footsteps! 70 And indeed before them, most of the former people went astray. 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 Then see what was the end of those who were warned (but heeded not). 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
