Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who belie the Book and that message wherewith We sent Our apostles, presently they shall come to know. 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 In boiling water; they will then be ignited* in the fire. (Like fuel – see verse 2:24) 72 Then it is said unto them: Where are (all) that ye used to make partners (in the Sovereignty) 73 “As rivals to Allah?”; they will say, “We have lost them – in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter Hell now to abide in it. How woeful is the abode of those who wax proud! 76 So be patient, surely the promise of Allah is true. So should We make you see part of what We threaten them with, or should We cause you to die, to Us shall they be returned. 77 We sent Messengers before thee; of some We have related to thee, and some We have not related to thee. It was not for any Messenger to bring a sign, save by God's leave. When God's command comes, justly the issue shall be decided; then the vain-doers shall be lost. 78
