What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 and has caused its waters to come out of it, and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 will find himself in Hell; 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 Why (ask they)? What hast thou to tell thereof? 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46
