The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ The believers must (eventually) win through,- 1 who are submissive to God in their prayers, 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 those who pay the zakat; 4 who guard their privates, 5 Except from their wives and women slaves of old are free of blame, 6 But whoso craveth beyond that, such are transgressors - 7 And those who of their trusts and covenant are keepers. 8 and who guard their Prayers. 9 these are the heirs 10 Who will inherit al-Firdaus. They will abide therein eternally. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 Then We made him a small seed in a firm resting-place, 13 Then We made the Nutfah into a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood), then We made the clot into a little lump of flesh, then We made out of that little lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then We brought it forth as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. 14 And then you will certainly die, 15 Then will be raised up on the Day of Resurrection. 16 We have created seven heavens above you and have never been neglectful to Our Creation. 17 And we send down from the sky water in measure, and We give it lodging in the earth, and lo! We are Able to withdraw it. 18 Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palm and vines; for you therein are fruits many, and thereof ye eat. 19 And also a tree that springeth forth from mount Sinai, that groweth oil and is a sauce for the eaters. 20 And in cattle (too) ye have an instructive example: from within their bodies We produce (milk) for you to drink; there are, in them, (besides), numerous (other) benefits for you; and of their (meat) ye eat; 21 And on them and on the ship ye are borne. 22
