Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection. 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 What, does man reckon We shall not gather his bones? 3 Yes, We are Able to put together in perfect order the tips of his fingers. 4 But man desires to persist in his evil ways. 5 He asketh: When will be this Day of Resurrection? 6 But [on that Day,] when the eyesight is by fear confounded, 7 and the moon eclipsed, 8 and the sun and the moon are brought together, 9 people will say, "Is there anywhere to run away?" 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 On that day man is told the tale of that which he hath sent before and left behind. 13 In fact, man himself is keeping an eye on his state of affairs! 14 Whatever the excuses he may offer. 15 Do not forestall (the revelation before its completion) by acting in haste. 16 Indeed assembling the Qur’an and reading it are upon Us. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation (by Us). 18 and then, it will be for Us to make its meaning clear. 19 Nay, but ye do love the fleeting Now 20 And neglect the hereafter. 21 How many faces will be refulgent on that Day, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking. 25 Some people, certainly, do not believe in it, but when a person's soul reaches up to his throat 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 and he knows that it is the time of parting; 28 and leg is intertwined with leg, 29 on that Day he will be driven towards your Lord! 30

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
