Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]? 1 Many faces will be contrite on that day, 2 toiling [under burdens of sin,] worn out [by fear,] 3 They will suffer the heat of the blazing fire 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 no food for them but cactus thorn 6 Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. 7 Many faces will be joyous on that day, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 In a Garden on high, 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 therein uplifted couches 13 and goblets placed ready, 14 And cushions lined up 15 and carpets spread out. 16 So do they not see the camel – how it has been created? 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 Therefore do thou give admonition, for thou art one to admonish. 21 thou art not charged to oversee them. 22 But if any turn away and reject Allah,- 23 will be punished by God with the greatest punishment. 24 for behold, unto Us will be their return, 25 then upon Us shall rest their reckoning. 26
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
