Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan, and shelter thee? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find thee destitute and enrich (thee)? 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
