Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 Striking sparks of fire (by their hooves), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Truly man is, to his Lord, ungrateful; 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
