The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Ruin is for every open slanderer, backbiter. 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his property will make him live forever. 3 Nay, he shall be thrown into the Crusher. 4 And what could make thee conceive what that crushing torment will be? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 to penetrate into the hearts. 7 Verily it shall close upon them, 8 In extended columns. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
