The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked, 1 Arise, and warn. 2 And your Lord (Allah) magnify! 3 purify your garments; 4 shun uncleanness; 5 Give not, thinking to gain greater 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 Then, when the Trumpet is sounded (i.e. its second blowing); 8 that very Day shall be a day of anguish, 9 Far from easy for those without Faith. 10 Leave Me (to deal) with him whom I created lonely, 11 and appointed for him ample wealth 12 And sons present by his side. 13 And made life smooth and comfortable for him! 14 and who still desires more. 15 Never! For he is an enemy to Our signs! 16 Anon I shall afflict him with a fearful woe. 17 Surely he reflected and guessed, 18 May he be condemned! 19 What an evil plan he has made! 20 Then he looked round; 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 Then he turned back and was arrogant 23 Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; 24 This is nothing but the word of mortal man!" 25 Soon will I cast him into Hell-Fire! 26 Would that you really knew what hell is! 27 It leaves nothing, nor does it spare; 28 scorching the flesh; 29 over it are nineteen. 30 For We have caused none but angelic powers to lord over the fire [of hell]; and We have not caused their number to be aught but a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth - to the end that they who have been granted revelation aforetime might be convinced [of the truth of this divine writ]; and that they who have attained to faith [in it] might grow yet more firm in their faith; and that [both] they who have been granted the earlier revelation and they who believe [in this one] might be freed of all doubt; and that they in whose hearts is disease and they who deny the truth outright might ask, "What does [your] God mean by this parable?" In this way God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray,] and guides aright him that wills [to be guided]. And none can comprehend thy Sustainers forces save Him alone: and all this is but a reminder to mortal man. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
