We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 We send rain-impregnated winds, and water from the sky which you drink, but you are not the keepers of its store. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 And indeed We know those among you who came forward and indeed We know those among you who remained behind. 24 And indeed, your Lord will gather them; indeed, He is Wise and Knowing. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
