Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the white forenoon 1 and by the calm of night, 2 your Lord has not forsaken you, nor is He displeased with you, 3 And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present. 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
