T H (Taa Haa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta' Ha' 1 We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, 2 but as a reminder to he who fears. 3 A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the high heavens, 4 the Most Gracious, established on the throne of His almightiness? 5 Unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth, as well as all that is between them and all that is beneath the sod. 6 Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names. 8 And has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 9 When he saw a fire, and said to his family, 'Tarry you here; I observe a fire. Perhaps I shall bring you a brand from it, or I shall find at the fire guidance.' 10 Then when he was come thereto, he was cried unto. O Musa! 11 Surely I am your Lord, therefore put off your shoes; surely you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa, 12 I have chosen you as My Messengers. Listen to the revelation. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 “Therefore never let one, who does not accept faith in it and follows his own desires, prevent you from accepting this, so then you become ruined.” 16 "And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" 17 'It is my staff," Moses replied, "upon it I lean and with it I beat down leaves to feed my sheep and for me there are other uses in it' 18 He said: Cast it down, O Moses! 19 So he threw it down, and thereupon it was a snake, moving swiftly. 20 Said He, 'Take it, and fear not; We will restore it to its first state. 21 “And put your hand inside your armpit – it will come out shining white, not due to any illness – one more sign.” 22 We shall show you some of Our greatest signs. 23 And go to Pharaoh now for he has transgressed all bounds." 24
