Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Just look at him, who belies the religion! 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 They who would be seen, 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
