We sent Noah to his people. He said: "O my people! worship Allah! ye have no other god but Him. I fear for you the punishment of a dreadful day! 59 The leading men of his people replied: 'We see that you are in palpable error.' 60 (Noah) said, "My people, I am not in any error, rather I am a Messenger from the Lord of the Universe, 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Does it seem strange to you that a reminder from your Lord should be sent to a man, from among you, to warn you so that you might receive mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
