Have you not seen how We send down to the unbelievers satans who prick them? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 And they say: the Compassionate hath taken a son. 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – the Most Gracious will appoint love for them. (In the hearts of other believers.) 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
