Lo! God said: "O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ. 55 "As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help." 56 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be given their recompense in full; but God does not love the unjust. 57 This which We recite to you is a revelation and a wise reminder. 58 For God the likeness of Jesus is as that of Adam whom He fashioned out of dust and said "Be" and he was. 59 The Truth (comes) from Allah alone; so be not of those who doubt. 60 Tell whoever disputes with you on this matter after true knowledge has come to you: 'Come! Let us summon our sons and your sons, and our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves, and then let us pray together and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie.' 61 Indeed, this is the true narration. And there is no deity except Allah. And indeed, Allah is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 62 And if they turn away, then lo! Allah is Aware of (who are) the corrupters. 63
