Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then winnow them thoroughly, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 When the stars are extinguished, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 The mountains will be blown away as dust. 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 “Move towards what you used to deny!” 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 40
