Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you 1 till you reached the grave. 2 But you will come to know soon; -- 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 You would see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, shall ye be questioned that Day about the joy (ye indulged in!). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
