The Bee (Al-nahl)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ GOD'S JUDGMENT is [bound to] come: do not, therefore, call for its speedy advent! Limitless is He in His glory and sublimely exalted above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 1 He sends down this spirit (of prophecy) by His command through His angels on any of His servants whom He wills, (directing them): "Warn people that there is no deity but Me; so hold Me alone in fear." 2 He created the heavens and the earth with Truth. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Allah in His Divinity. 3 He has created man from a sperm-drop; and behold this same (man) becomes an open disputer! 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And for you there is beauty in them as ye drive them at eventide and as ye drive them out to pasture. 6 And they bear your loads to a city which ye could not reach except with travail of souls; verily your Lord is Kind, Merciful. 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 And the middle path rightly leads to Allah – any other path is wayward; and had He willed He would have brought all of you upon guidance. 9
