The Poets (Alshu'araa')

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. 1 These are verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 they have indeed rejected the message. But the truth of what they laughed to scorn will dawn upon them before long. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely in this there is a sign, yet most of them would not believe: 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
