The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 to protect them from the rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are admonished, they receive not admonition. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
