So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And what you do not see 39 that this is the speech of an honourable Messenger, 40 It is not the speech of a poet little do you believe 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 43 if he had invented any lies about Us, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 And verily, this Quran is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2). 48 And verily, We know that there are some among you that belie (this Quran).
