Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 As justification or warning, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 one will be told, "To the Day of Distinction". 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 that Day on which they will not [be able to] utter a word, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 So if you have a plan, plan against Me (now). 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
