The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the heaven and the night-comer 1 And what will make you to know what At-Tariq (night-comer) is? 2 It is the piercing star - 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 So let man consider of what he is created: 5 He was created of spurting water 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On the Day when man's deepest secrets shall be put to the test 9 Then will he have no might nor any helper. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 and the earth, bursting forth with plants! 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 And is not a matter of amusement. 14 Behold, they [who refuse to accept it] devise many a false argument [to disprove its truth]; 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 So bear with unbelievers with patience, and give them respite for a while. 17
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
