The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
