Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 And taken off from you your burden, 2 Which weighed down thy back; 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 But lo! with hardship goeth ease, 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And turn to your Lord with all your love. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
