In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
READ in the name of thy Sustainer, who has created 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read - for thy Sustainer is the Most Bountiful One 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 taught man what he did not know! 5 Nay, but verily man is rebellious 6 for he believes himself to be self-sufficient. 7 Surely to your Lord is your return. 8 Seest thou one who forbids- 9 a servant of Ours from prayer? 10 Have you considered if he were on the right way, 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 Do you see how he has denied the truth and turned away from it? 13 Does he not know that Allah sees everything? 14 No! If he does not desist, We will surely drag him by the forelock - 15 a lying, sinful forelock. 16 So, let him call upon his way! 17 We, will call the Zabania (the harsh angels of Hell). 18 No, not at all. Never obey him. But prostrate yourself and become nigh (to your Lord). ۩ 19
