The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
The Striking! 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose deeds weigh heavy in the Balance 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His abode shall be the abyss. 9 And what can make you know what that is? 10 A Blazing Fire! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
