The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ (Muhammad), tell My servants that I am All-forgiving and All-merciful 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said: bear ye me glad tidings when old age hath touched me? of what then ye bear me glad tidings? 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 "Other than his wife who, it is decreed, will remain with those who will stay behind." 60
