Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And it is forbidden for any township which We have destroyed, that they may return. (Once the disbelievers face death, their return to earth is impossible.) 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 and the time for the fulfilment of the true promise of Allah draws near, whereupon the eyes of those who disbelieved will stare in fear, and they will say: "Woe to us, we were indeed heedless of this; nay, we were wrongdoers." 97 Lo! ye (idolaters) and that which ye worship beside Allah are fuel of hell. Thereunto ye will come. 98 If those had been gods, they would never have gone down to it, but in it they shall live for ever. 99 Therein breathing out with deep sighs and roaring will be their portion, and therein they will hear not. 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 the greatest terror shall not grieve them, and the angels shall receive them: 'This is your day that you were promised.' 103 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 This Qur’an is sufficient for people who are devout. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?" 108 Then if they turn away, proclaim, “I have proclaimed a war against you on equal terms; and what do I know whether the promise which is given to you, is close or far?” 109 Surely He knows what is spoken aloud and He knows what you hide. 110 I do not know if this be a trial for you, or a little advantage for a while." 111 He said: O my Lord! judge Thou with truth; and our Lord is the Beneficent Allah, Whose help is sought against what you ascribe (to Him). 112
