Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 The Word is proved true against the greater part of them: for they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
