Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
